It is the predecessor of Toontrack's more simplified EZdrummer
, with the original DfH samples re-released as an expansion, and the high-end DfH Superior (rechristened Superior Drummer with version 2).
This software was used to create the full drum tracks in Meshuggah
's album Catch Thirtythree
(whose drummer, Tomas Haake
, was part of Drumkit from Hell's development team and also provided the drum sounds himself), as well as in Devin Townsend
