. The second Baronet sat as Member of Parliament
for Exeter
from 1845 to 1857. The title became extinct on his death in 1887.
The Duckworth Baronetcy, of Grosvenor Place in the City of Westminster, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 15 July 1909 for the prominent physician Dyce Duckworth. He was Treasurer of the Royal College of Physicians
from 1884 to 1923 and Honorary Physician to Edward VII
when Prince of Wales from 1890 to 1901.
