The heir apparent
is the present holder's only son Hugh Grosvenor, Earl Grosvenor (b. 29 January 1991). Grosvenor is the third child and first son of Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster and the former Natalia Phillips
. As the only son of the present Duke, he is therefore heir apparent to the dukedom of Westminster. Through his mother he is a descendant of Princess Augusta, eldest daughter of Frederick, Prince of Wales
and is also a descendant of Alexandr Pushkin.
Lord Grosvenor is currently the only person in the line of succession to the dukedom of Westminster. The next in line to the marquessate and the other titles is Francis Grosvenor, 8th Earl of Wilton, who is heir male of Robert Grosvenor, 1st Baron Ebury
, himself third and youngest son of the first Marquess.
