History
High school education for Dunlap was started in 1893, and was a two-year course. A new school building was built in 1899; the high school occupied the top floor of the frame structure, and afterward it became a four-year school. Expansion
Beginning on March 14, 2010, Dunlap is underwent an addition of an 8 classrooms at the North end of the school. Dubbed as Phase I of the renovation process, it was completed in time for the start of the 2010-11 school year.Phase II of the renovation process will likely begin mid June, 2010 through August, 2011 and will include a 2 story addition with an additional 17 classrooms, additional locker rooms, additional student lockers, and cafeteria/kitchen expansions.
