in 1996, but was released without playing in a major league game with the Rangers.
He was signed by the Yakult Swallows in , and was immediately heralded as one of the worst players ever to come to Japan

Currently, Dwayne Hosey works as a hitting instructor in Omaha Nebraska. Most recently, he has been known to be employed the "The Ultimate Baseball Academy." Mr. Hosey became well familiar with Omaha as a member of the Omaha Royals. He is currently the hitting coach for the Brevard County Manatees
