Dylan Jacob Macallister (born 17 May 1982 in Manly, New South Wales
) is an Australia
n football (soccer)
player who plays as a forward for A-League
club Gold Coast United. He previsouly played for Australian clubs Sydney Olympic, Northern Spirit
and Central Coast Mariners, New Zealand club Wellington Phoenix and Norwegian clubs SK Brann, Lyn and Sparta Sarpsborg.
(then known as the Olympic Sharks). He marked his professional debut for the club in 1999 by scoring in his first appearance.

. Macallister was then supposed to have left for Switzerland and FC Aarau
in August, but immediately regretted signing the contract. The transfer was eventually called off and Macallister instead continued playing for Northern Spirit until he was bought by the Norwegian club Brann in February 2004.

Macallister's first season was blighted by a fatigue injury and after a good start to his second season he suffered a training injury, sidelining him for eight weeks.

On 13 May 2010, it was announced that he had signed a contract with the Wellington Phoenix in the Hyundai A league Australian Competition, bringing him to the capital to play as a target-man.
