Neo Poke Pro Yakyu uses the same engine as Dynamite Slugger, but uses Japanese professional teams. The pitching in this game is much faster than in Dynamite Slugger. Because licensing from the Japanese baseball league was not acquired prior to the game's release, the game was pulled off shelfs shortly after its release.
