Dyslexicon was released in the summer of 1995, after lead guitarist Bayen Butler left the band. The album benefits from improved production quality and the band's sound began to aim toward a more alternative and post-grunge influence, rather than the 'filthy' sound that they delivered in their previous album. A psychedelic influence is more apparent, particularly in spacier songs like "Weird-Out" and "Tapped," with flute in "Viva Kneval" and effects in "Super Cool" and "Melon frm Heaven."
