The Station can be able to accommodate 7 people, and it is dedicated to support scientific projects in the surrender areas. It was a former British station, known as Trinity House.
It's named in honor of Ruperto Elichiribehety, Uruguayan Navy Lieutenant who in 1916 led the Uruguayan Expedition attempting to rescue the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition
