Susan Bartlett was stabbed 55 times. Her housemate, Suzanne Armstrong, was stabbed 29 times. Armstrong’s 16-month-old son, Gregory, survived. The women’s bodies were discovered three days after they were killed. Neighbours had heard the baby whimpering.
