East Hoathly with Halland (icon) is a civil parish

, England. The parish contains the two villages of East Hoathly and Halland, two miles (3.2 km) to the west; it sits astride the A22 road

, although the original sharp bend on that road through East Hoathly has now been bypass

As of 31st July 2011, the service runs hourly during the daytime and approximately half hourly at peak times. During the daytime, buses run at 03 past the hour to Eastbourne and 02 past the hour to Uckfield, meaning that more often than not the buses meet each other in East Hoathly.
The last two services from Uckfield in the evening at 19:03 and 20:03 through East Hoathly only operate as far as Hailsham with the option of a connecting bus to Eastbourne via Polegate.
The service only runs Monday to Saturday with no Sunday or Bank Holiday timetable. On average, the service is unreliable with most buses from Eastbourne running from anywhere up to 5-20 minutes late. On the other hand, many services from Uckfield have been witnessed to run up to 4 minutes early.

On 3 December 2006 the Festival Fireworks factory in nearby Shortgate caught fire detonating the display pyrotechnics stored on the site. Media reports placed the factory within Halland, although it actually falls within the parish of Ringmer
