ed. It was best known as the site of the now defunct Eastgate Consumer Mall which in May 2008 was sold to Lifeline Data Centers which is turning it into a colocation site. The shopping center has been converted into a data storage center, and also plays host to Indianapolis' Homeland Security Department as of Summer 2010. The center hopes to breathe life back into the dilapidated suburb and has already seen a large degree of success. Jobs at the data storage facility are estimated to be from $65,000 and up.
