Club history

The merger of Echuca East football club and Echuca South football club to become Echuca United football club in 1994. The club competed in the Northern and Echuca League as the hawks, wearing brown and gold vertical striped jumpers.
After the league disbanded in 1996, the club joined the murray league. The club was forced to change their jumpers due to the Barooga Hawks(already in the murray league) having the same jumpers. Echuca United then became the Eagles and used the same jumper designs as the West Coast Eagles. At the beginning of the 2002 season the eagles purchased new jumpers with a new eagle design adopted.
