. He is a former X-1 Featherweight Champion, former Tachi Palace Fights Featherweight Champion and is currently signed as a Featherweight in the UFC.

Pre-UFC

Yagin was scheduled to face off against undefeated Hawaiian Featherweight prospect Brandon Visher on September 12, 2009 for the Up-N-Up Featherweight Championship, but was forced off the card due to injuries sustained during training. He was replaced by Stockton, California's Issac de Jesus. Visher went on to win the title, which earned him a contract with the WEC.
