Edmund Henry Byng, 6th Earl of Strafford (1861–1951) was an English
peer
. He was the second son (the first having died in infancy) of The Reverend Francis Edmund Cecil Byng, 5th Earl of Strafford
(1835 - 1918) and Florence Louisa Miles (1840 - 1862), daughter of Sir William Miles, 1st Baronet
who died giving birth to him. He received a courtesy title of Viscount Enfield, before succeeding to the earldom in 1918. He married Mary Elizabeth Colebrooke, daughter of Sir Thomas Colebrooke, 4th Baronet
and had two daughters. Upon his death in 1951, he was succeeded by his nephew Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford.
