The release gave rise to substantial press coverage, including by BBC Guernsey and BBC Jersey, as well as by Channel Television
and the Guernsey Press, which also revealed that he was the youngest member of the Society of Authors
ever. Some of the proceeds from the book went to the local charity Channel Islands Air Search - as of March 2011, nearly £500 had been donated.
His second book, reportedly due to be published in late 2011, was going to be about the history of Aurigny Air Services
if the deal to merge the airline went ahead - it was announced on 14 September 2010 that it would not. He is now working on a book on airline scandals and scams.
