The Eglu is brand of chicken coop
designed and marketed by Omlet Ltd in the UK that is intended for small-scale, backyard chicken keeping. The original design was by four graduates from the Royal College of Art
, and was first shown at the degree show at the College in 2003.
It was launched in April 2004 and has won a number of awards including the BSI Design Award and the Horners Award. It appears in several colours, and comes with a run 220 centimetres (about 7 feet) long. The eglu itself is roughly 80 centimetres (2 feet, 8 inches) long and wide. There are also models for rabbits
