Einar Niemi is a Norwegian historian, born in Nord-Varanger, Finnmark
. He was married to Else Berit Roth from 1971 to 2000, and to Bjørg Evjen from 2004. He is known for is study of the history of ethnical minorities, and for his contributions to administration of cultural heritage of Northern Norway.
