On February 3, 2008 UC Berkeley music professor Jorge Liderman
committed suicide by jumping in front of an incoming Richmond bound train at this station.
On June 8, 2009 Everret Carey a 4 month-old boy, died as a result of hyperthermia
after having been left unattended inside his father's car earlier in the day. The infant was discovered later in the afternoon by the mother, who notified BART police.
