Elizabeth Somerset, Duchess of Beaufort (née Berkeley) (died 9 April 1799). She was born about 1713 in Stoke Gifford, Gloucestershire, to John Symes Berkeley and Elizabeth Norborne; and was the wife of Charles Noel Somerset, 4th Duke of Beaufort and the mother of Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort
and three daughters: Anne, Mary, and Henrietta.
A stone obelisk to her memory is located in Stoke Park, Bristol
. It is engraved with the Latin inscription:
