Wallace started acting in the early 1950s. Her last piece of acting was in 1983 in an episode of Number 10, in which she played Lady Jersey.

Wallace is 5 inch in height. Elizabeth Wallace was the Godmother of the son of Wendy Craig. She died peacefully at Burdyke Lodge Residential Home in Seaford, East Sussex in January 2011.
