Features

The waterfall is a horsetail waterfall and has a single drop of about 160 metres although some estimates place it at 150 metres or 200 metres. There are claims that it is the tallest single drop waterfall in Australia and it is claimed to be the second largest waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere. However there are more than 25 falls in the Southern Hemisphere with single drops greater than these falls.

Tourist facilities

At the falls there is a kiosk, picnic tables and a barbecue area. There is also a viewing platform and walking trails.
