Elza S. Maalouf is an Arab-American futurist and cultural development specialist focusing her work on cultural and political reform in the Arab world, including Palestine, Kuwait, and Dubai, and in Syria through the European Union SHAMS project.
As one of foremost futurists and expert in Memetics of the Middle East, Maalouf was named by EnlightenNext Magazine http://www.enlightennext.org/magazine/current/?ifr=hp-mag as one of today’s brightest minds. In 2011 she was elected member of the Evolutionary Leaders http://www.evolutionaryleaders.net/evolutionary-leaders, an organization made up of the leading Global minds in the fields of science, spirituality, and consciousness studies who's primary purpose is to advance the conscious evolution of humanity.
Maalouf is co-founder of the Center for Human Emergence Middle East, a think tank that emphasizes the scientific understanding of cultures through the prism of the "bio-psycho-social systems" framework of Clare W. Graves
and his colleague and successor Don Beck. Under Dr. Beck’s mentorship and support she has pioneered the Integral movement and the application of Spiral Dynamics

Maalouf is also the founder of the Integral Insights Consulting (IIC) Group which brings human potential research to bear on organizational challenges and opportunities. The IIC Group is dedicated to the multi-faceted development of individuals, teams and organizations.
She graduated from the Lebanese University
law school and became a member of the Beirut Bar Association in 1986. Ms. Maalouf lives with her husband in La Jolla, California.
