, before returning to BBC News. She began presenting on the BBC News Channel's weekend evening slot on 23 October 2010, before moving on to afternoons the following week. On 5 November 2010, when the BBC News schedule was disrupted due to a 48 hour NUJ
strike, Crosby presented the BBC News at One, and the afternoon schedule on the BBC News Channel.
In February 2011, she was appointed a presenter of 5 News as a replacement for Natasha Kaplinsky
