Description
This species generally grows to 2 metres (occasionally 4 metres) in height. It has pubescent, linear or linear-oblanceolate leaves which are up to 9 cm long. It produces red to purple-red flowers between winter and early summer followed by ovoid to conical woody fruits, which are up to 9.5 mm long and 6 mm in diameter.Taxonomy
