Eric Martinot

Eric Martinot is research director with the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies in Tokyo, Japan. From 2005 to 2008 he resided in Beijing as visiting faculty at Tsinghua University

He also guided the GEF's renewable energy program strategies and synthesized knowledge and experience with renewable energy markets and investments around the world. While working at the World Bank, he taught part-time on energy and environment to graduate students as an adjunct professor of public policy at the University of Maryland, College Park
