Erode Junction Railway Station is the main railway station in the City of Erode

in India, located at 3 km from Erode Central Bus Terminus at Swastik Circle.

Diesel LOCO Shed
The Diesel Loco Shed at Erode houses over 120 Diesel-Electric locomotives. It was set up in 1962 and is one of the premier locomotive maintenance sheds in the country. The ISO 9001 certified shed maintains locomotives which haul important trains up to Kanniyakumari, Trivandrum, Madurai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mysore, Mumbai, Rajkot, Pune, Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Jaipur etc. The Erode Railway Junction has three branches leading to Karur, Coimbatore and Salem.
