Esophoria

Esophoria is characterised by inward deviation of the eye usually due to extra-ocular muscle imbalance.

Causes include:
  • refractive errors
  • divergence insufficiency
  • convergence excess, these can be due to nerve, muscle, congenital or mechanical anomalies.
