. The game was released on 15 April 2008 in North America and on 18 April 2008 in Europe, followed by a Mac OS X
version ported by Virtual Programming on 4 July 2008.
On July 23, 2010, Virtual Programming published the Mac OS X version of the Europa Universalis: Rome Gold Edition, which includes the Vae Victis expansion pack.
