While FCE Ultra supports network play via TCP/IP, it is not currently functional in the win32 version FCEUX, though fixing it is a high priority. TCP/IP multiplayer is working in the SDL port.
As of version 2.1.3, the old python frontend has been integrated into FCEUX itself.
