Nonetheless, FC Luzhany has managed to obtain the Cup and win the Championship of the Association. The club has never applied for the professional status. In 2008 Luzhany has managed to win their first the Amateur Championship, the final round of which has taken place in Chernivtsi oblast
. In the final game they beat FC Torpedo Mykolaiv that in the recent season has been more and more successful.
