The stadium
was built in the area Galadyuzyu in place of old arena. The total area of 2.3 hectares. The draft was prepared by the Bulgarian "Dynamic Resource", commissioned by the company "General Constructions". The work took place from 2006 to August 2008 . At its construction has been spent around 12 million USD. The stadium
holds 3500 spectators.
Since the club's foundation, Simurq have had only one crest. It was officially adopted for the start of the 2006–07 season and based on a mythical sacred Phoenix
firebird. It sterms from the club's name Simurq, which means Phoenix in Azerbaijan language.
Simurq's traditional colors are yellow (gold), black and white and allude to the club's symbol Phoenix
