Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University is the first Pharmacy school
in Thailand. The Advent of "Medical Poition School" (โรงเรียนปรุงยา). According to the intend of Chakrabongse Bhuvanadh and Rangsit Prayurasakdi commandant of Royal Medical College at that time, to develop thai public health standard as the western. Medical Poition School beginning as the department of School of Medical Practitioners. After the established of Chulalongkorn University
, School of Medical Practitioners was included under the jurisdiction of Chulalongkorn University on April 6, 1917. Medical Poition School has been enhanced to higher education. And rename the school to "School of Pharmacy" in the 1933. After Pdanukornam of the Thai word suggested to use "pharmacy" (เภสัชกรรม) instead of "poition" (ปรุงยา) Later, the Chulalongkorn University Act 2477 is divide the Independent Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. And changing a degree "Certificate in Pharmacy (P.p.)" equivalent diploma. By Dean, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital acting Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Science, another independent location.
Current Board of Pharmacy, Chulalongkorn University. Has taught at bachelor degree, master's degree and Ph.D. The undergraduate course was open to teaching in the two programs are Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences course and Clinical Pharmacy Course. Both of them have duration in the study were 6-year study program. The Faculty consisted of 7 departments and also exchange students with universities in other countries such as exchange students, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences CU - Chiba, exchange faculty. Faculty researchers and students in universities abroad Such as USA ,. United Kingdom ,. Japanese and Korean etc.
