sprint canoer
who has been competing since 1996 and on the senior circuit since 2006. She won a gold in the women's K-4 500 m event at the 2008 Summer Olympics
in Beijing
and finished fourth in the K-2 500 m event at those same games.
At the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, Fischer has won nine medals with three golds (K-1 4 x 200 m: 2009
