Impact from future lake
Plans have been in the works for many years for a new lake, Lake Columbia, to be built along Mud Creek, a branch of which FM 2750 crosses. In advance of construction, a new Minute Order was commissioned in 2005, to reduce the mileage of FM 2750 to 2.4 miles (3.9 km). This change will affect the western end of the road, and its intersection with FM 2064, which will no longer connect to FM 2750 after Lake Columbia is built. As of yet, construction on the lake has not commenced, so signage and length of the road has not yet changed to reflect the 2005 Order.Major intersections
