Fengcheng is a county-level city

China's Jiangxi province. The literal translation of the name is "Abundance City", due to its importance as a major commercial hub for agricultural products. It is located in northern Yichun, next to Nanchang. There are 26 towns and 7 sub-districts. Its area is 2845 square kilometers and its population is more than 1,300,000. The 2005 GDP was more than 91 billion RMB.
In 210 AD, during the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was founded as 剑邑 county.
