lawyer and politician in the Province of New Brunswick
.
He graduated from the University of Ottawa
in Ottawa
and obtained a law degree
from the University of New Brunswick
in Fredericton. Dubé practised law in Campbellton, New Brunswick
and in 1970-71 served as president of the Campbellton Tigers
ice hockey
club whose 1972 team would be inducted in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame
.

. After more than four and a half years in these portfolios, on October 30, 1982 he was appointed Minister of Justice
then to his final Cabinet post on October 3, 1985 as the Minister of Commerce & Technology
