and ex-members solo projects. Throughout the 1980s, it released material from artists such as Michael Moorcock, Robert Calvert, Hawkwind, The London Cowboys, Erazerhead, The Barracudas

and Underground Zerø
before the label was taken over by Cherry Red
in 1992. In the past two years, the label has been revived by Gloder with a view to release compilations as well as new bands.
A retrospective compilation CD was released on Anagram Records through Cherry Red in 1992 entitled Frenchy Scissorhands - The True Story of Flicknife Records (Cat No CDM GRAM 59).
