Flodder 3 is a 1995 Dutch comedy film
directed by Dick Maas
.
This is the third and last movie about the anti-social family, called 'Flodder'. As with all the other productions of Dick Maas, he composed the score himself.
Different from the first two movies, Johnnie Flodder is now played by Coen van Vrijberghe de Coningh. This is the same actor as in the TV serial. He died only two years later. He said; "I had to lay in black ice for seven takes long and pretend to be enjoying the weather. It's awesome, if it works." Also, son Kees is now interprets by Stefan de Walle.
Nevertheless, there was decided to record a fourth and later, a fifth season. In total, there were made 62 episodes. 1997 marked the final ending of Flodder, when Coen died unexpectedly due to a heart attack. It happened during a private party at the Flodder Studio' s in Almere, where the round-off of season five was being celebrated. These last two seasons were aired by Veronica.

Background
The film was recorded simultaneously with the third season of the TV serial and is a combination of the three considered scenario' s who were originally intended for open endings.Nevertheless, there was decided to record a fourth and later, a fifth season.
