In early 2011, Florrie's song "Call 911" was used in as the theme song of the Ontario, Canada based web reality show "The Avenue," starring Gregory Gorgeous of YouTube fame. In November 2010, Florrie released her debut EP, Introduction, containing the tracks "Call of the Wild", "Give Me Your Love", "Summer Nights" and "Left Too Late", available as a free download off her website and 500 limited 12" vinyl pressings. Music blogs electronic rumors,Dödselectro, Sundtrak, ArjanWrites.com and Popjustice all praised the quality of the music, noted the free availability of the tracks, and expressed interest for future material. Others have identified how the awareness of Florrie's music has been assisted by online social networks and a grassroots strategy. "I think it's really important to have that contact with fans and for them to be able to buy into your world or you as a person without any pressure from a corporation", says Florrie. "It's a better way of doing it because people can feel like they discovered you as opposed to a major label. I want my fans to feel like they have some sort of ownership."

The lead single "Begging Me" from her new EP was released on 28 April 2011. The new EP titled "Experiments" was released on 14 June 2011.

A third EP is due for release later this year.

 in the process of recording and singing her own demos, by 2010 Florrie homed in on the sound she wanted. She told PonyStep that "it's going to be a big mixture: Kind of a sixties, organic feel merged with modern pop beats and electronics."
