. Though Bruno was somewhat fortunate to survive a right hand blow on the bell of round one that left him severely dazed and on the back foot til late in the second. He is also notable for having been the final opponent of former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier
, when Frazier made a brief comeback in 1981; the fight was scored a draw. Cummings ended his career with a record of 15 wins, six losses and one draw.
In 2002 Cummings was sentenced to life imprisonment for armed robbery.
