The company was originally named Teamwork Motion Pictures Ltd.
(Chinese: 天幕製作有限公司). Because of disagreement and subsequent legal proceedings between Andy Lau and another joint owner of the company. After the settlement of the disputes, Andy renamed the company to the current name in 2004 in order to give it a fresh start.
The notable films produced by the company when it was named Team Work was the critically acclaimed features Made in Hong Kong
