, even if it is possible that the answers to the initial message are all crossposted to the same groups, this situation should be avoided because there is (almost) always users who either do not want either can't continue this crossposting.

In this case the poster should not only indicate that it is redirecting to (fu2) the new and more appropriate group, but also make a full quotation of the redirected message (usually the initial message of the thread), so that readers of the new group are informed of the question.

This line indicates that the subsequent answers to the current message should be made in the newsgroup indicated just after the semi-column.
