Controversy

The alternative treatments advocated in Food Matters have failed to establish notable credibility among the scientific or medical community. Some of them consider the facts and figures presented in the documentary misleading or outright false, for example, the claim that vitamin therapy is an effective treatment for cancer is challenged by Dr. Steven Barrot in an article from the skeptic's website, Quackwatch.
