Fossil Ridge High School is a high school
located in north Fort Worth, Texas
. It is the second high school of the Keller Independent School District
. The original building was built in 1995 for 9th and 10th graders; an expansion was built in 1997-1998 to accommodate 11th and 12th graders.
The current principal of the school is David Hadley.

and the school colors are black and gold. The school also contains two theaters, two gym

Most Fossil Hill Middle School
graduates and some Trinity Springs Middle School
and also Hillwood Middle School graduates feed into Fossil Ridge High School.

In 2005, Fossil Ridge went back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2002 season, but only made it as far as the first round, suffering a 35-20 defeat at the hands of Trinity High School

. In 2006, Fossil Ridge was reclassified to Class 4-A, and was reclassified again in 2008 back to Class 5A. Fossil Ridge won three consecutive match ups against rival Keller High School
(2005–2007) and six of the all eleven games (1996–2008). They also won the only game against their other district rival, Central High School
, in the 2008 season.
Other sports played at Fossil Ridge include baseball, softball, track and field, wrestling, power lifting, volleyball, tennis, golf, basketball, soccer, swimming and diving, bowling, rodeo, cross country, and ice hockey (district-wide team).

Basketball
The Fossil Ridge Panthers are the reigning 6-4A champions in Basketball having posted a 29-4 record and a 16-0 record in district play. They are also the reigning 5-5A champions. They have made only 3 playoff appearances in the schools history, all of which have came in the last 3 school years (2006–2007,2007–2008,2008–2009). They have also gone through a coaching change following back-to-back division championships, Head Coach Brad Mouser left the Panthers to go to the newest Keller ISD Timber Creek High School, assistant coach Zack Myers has taken over.Football

The Fossil Ridge Panther Regiment is a marching band and colorguard.- The 2006 Senior Class received over $4.4 million in scholarship offers.
