Carvalho was racing in the seventh lap of round three of the SEAT Leon Eurocup in Brands Hatch when he lost control, hit the wall, flipped over the cars nose multiple times, and crashed out of the racetrack in the trees bordering the circuit. There were no deaths and Carvalho was uninjured.
