from 1881 and at Christ's College from 1893. In 1887 he became the Principal of Westcott House, Cambridge
. In 1901 he was elected the President of Queens' College, Cambridge
and also the Norris Professor of Divinity. In 1905 he was consecrated as the Bishop of Ely
. He resigned as bishop in 1924 and died in 1925.
