Freeskier Magazine is a skiing

. Freeskier focuses on the newer aspect of skiing pertaining to terrain parks, jibbing, big mountain and back-country riding. The magazine is published 6 times per year and has been growing in circulation rapidly over the past several years. The magazine is currently in its 10th volume. The magazine has recently ventured into new-media content delivery with their "Freeskier Magazine Podcast" and Freeskier.TV.
In October 2007 Freeskier Magazine re-launched their website, freeskier.com. It now contains tools that allow community members to upload their own photos, news stories and videos. It has been meet with widespread acclaim from the ski industry and is growing in size. The website now allows users to download issues of the magazine in .pdf format one month after they have hit the newsstand. This is a very controversial issue in the magazine industry since Freeskier is not collecting any subscription revenue to procure these issues digitally.
