"Fresh" is a song by the R&B funk
group Kool & the Gang
. Released as a single in 1985 from the group's album of the previous year, Emergency, the song peaked at #11 on the UK chart, #9 on the U.S. Hot 100 charts, and was number one on both the U.S. R&B and dance charts. The song introduced a new meaning to the word "fresh," meaning "good."

on vocals, with the band merely playing the instruments. This version was released a single in Germany, France & Spain on April 14, 2004. Subsequently, the track appeared as a bonus track on the Liberty X album Being Somebody
in each of those countries respectively. A video for the song was recorded in late 2003, and features Liberty X playing to an audience in a club. The video does not feature Kool & The Gang. The track peaked at #3 in Germany
