Baron Frederik Hartvig Herman Wedel Jarlsberg (born 7th July 1855 in Oslo
, dead 27th July 1942 in Lissabon) was a Norwegian aristocrat, jurist, and diplomat, as well as a Danish baron. Earlier, his family were in Norway officially recognised as barons. He entered the Norwegian-Swedish diplomacy and played a central rôle in the 1905 dissolution of the union between these countries. He was three times offered the post as minister of foreign affairs.
